What is on my Patreon
Patreon is where the full story is told. I write and share photos or videos from what I'm reading, painting and working through. It's an account of continuous world building as it happens and the philosophy I've woven into my work. Where the finished painting is "what" exists, Patreon is "why" it was made in the first place, and "how" it came to life.
What to expect
Posts go out every Wednesday. That includes research, myths and theology, paintings in progress, original works of fiction, and occasional video content. Videos can be technical studies, painting demos, studio updates or full process.
On Original Fiction
For many of my paintings, the idea expands beyond the confines of oil paint. From my love of mythology, I've taken to writing my own, sharing it in its unpolished form on Patreon only. Often you'll find a series of posts moving from research to painting to myth, tracing every stage of a project's creation. These stories don't exist anywhere else, and I'm not sure they ever will.
