What Arrives Each Month

  • A 5x7 first edition print, hand-signed and numbered
  • A full written letter walking through the myth, research, or personal thread behind that month's painting.
  • A sketch from the planning of that month's painting.
  • Wrapped in Vellum and sealed in a black envelope before it reaches you.

Field Notes First Edition 5x7 Prints are not and will never be available anywhere else. The same art is available in larger prints for purchase to members first always.

The Three Lives of a Piece

For each Field Notes painting, 5x7 first editions go to members only. For 60 days after mailing, members have access to purchase limited edition larger prints of the same works (sizes vary) at a discounted price. After that period, what is left of the edition is released to the public for purchase.

The Letters

The letters you receive are pieces of my journaling and notes throughout the creative process. In them, I share where ideas come from, the thought process of creation, the personal moments that influenced each painting and how the art impacted me. Anything from why I chose to paint Cerberus as a house pet to my experience with spirituality and how leaving it behind changed my art. There is so much writing and dissecting that happens before a finished painting reaches the public. These letters are a tangible door into the studio. Each one is hand signed, folded and packed by me.
